Mission Statement: International Research Associates LLC (INREAS) conducts interdisciplinary research from a diversity of fields, including engineering, science, international relations, international law, and security studies. We provide analysis relevant to the issues and problems found in transboundary water allocation and management in the 21st Century. The connection between science, data and diplomacy has grown increasingly important as both international relations between riparian states become more complex and scientific knowledge expands globally. A central tenant in INREAS analysis framework is the term science and diplomacy, now formally recognized as an area of critical concern to both internal consumers and external agencies in river basins.
